Today, our workshop in Kolkata is staffed by 12 skilled artisans. Every hide is hand-selected from the top 5% of Kanpur tanneries. Every seam is saddle-stitched — two needles, one thread — the same technique used for centuries because nothing stronger has replaced it. Edges are hand-beveled. Finishes are beeswax-burnished.
